A Quincy technique used by Yhwach, allowing him to create blue Reishi fire.
Description
The blue flames burning the non-flammable sands of Hueco Mundo.
Yhwach has displayed the ability to generate blue flames (青い炎, aoi honō) out of condensed Reishi. These Reishi flames can burn away even spiritual matter that is normally incombustible, like the sands and rocks of Hueco Mundo.[1]
During the Wandenreich's first proper invasion of the Seireitei, the Sternritter arrived from within blue pillars of fire (青い火柱, aoi hibashira) that were of extremely high density and massive size, towering over the cityscape.[2][3] Later during the Fall of the Soul King, Yhwach showed himself greatly proficient at using the blue flames in battle; including using them as concussive blasts, burning precise objects, or overpowering Mimihagi's reiatsu.[4][5][6]

- When the family castle of a young Bazz-B is burned down by the Lichtreich 1,000 years ago, the colored manga depicts the flames as a regular orange[11] while the anime depicts them as blue.[12]
- While within Ichigo's inner world, Zangetsu manifested a broadsword completely engulfed in these blue flames.
