Fireball is a technique of Shūsuke Amagai's Zanpakutō, Raika.^[1]

Description

Amagai can focus fireballs into the crux of the hook, and by swinging forward, he can launch large fireballs through the air at his target. Its attack power is great enough to counter the Shikai of Hyōrinmaru, the most powerful ice-based Zanpakutō.^[1]

Variations

• Enhanced Fireball: While using his Bankai, Raika Gōen Kaku, Amagai is able to generate a much larger sphere of fire from his weapon and powerfully fling this at his opponent to disable them. This attack was strong enough to knock Ichigo Kurosaki to the ground and to temporarily knock the wind out of him.^[2]

• Rapid Multiple Fireballs: While using Bankai, Amagai can summon small balls of fire after raising his large weapon above his head, using his power to generate fire and slashing at his enemy. He can also rapidly spin his weapon above his head and unleash these fireballs from the hook of his large blade. He can release these fireballs at a very fast rate to attack his enemy, forcing them to swiftly evade the attacks.^[2]
